Build To A Heavy Single


*Building to a heavy single does not mean you need to go for a Person Record. If it’s there, great! Slay away. If not, just build to something that feels heavy.


Suggested Heavy Single Prep:

10 Empty Barbell

8 Reps @ First Jump

6 Reps @ Second Jump

4 Reps @ Third Jump

2 Reps @ Second Jump

…. Climb in singles making smaller jumps in weight as you get closer to your heavy single.


*Use the maximum time to build to your heavy single

*Athletes may build to a moderate-heavy 3-5 reps if this better fits their fitness goals.
